The catholic church is true and the pope is divine!

Image in fire said to resemble late pope

Image
A composite image shows, at right a bonfire which locals believe resembles the silhouette of late Pope John Paul II making a blessing, in a picture taken by amateur photographer Grzegorz Lukasik, atop Matyska mountain in southern Poland, on April 2, 2007, during a vigil marking the second anniversary of the Polish pope's death. Data on Lukasik's digital camera says the picture was taken at 21.37:30, exactly the hour when the pope died. Picture at left shows Pope John Paul II waving to faithfuls as he leaves the Vatican, in this Aug. 8, 2001 file photo. (AP Photo/Grzegorz Lukasik/Plinio Lepri)

Clearly this is a message from God that the Pope is suffering in hellfire. Catholics suck as divine pictionary.

(Yet another pointless attempt to mock Mormons while betraying a naïve understanding of revelatory truth.)

I saw this picture on my homepage. I marveled at how easy it is to say 'Whatever. that's a fire.' To a Catholic, though, this is sacred proof. Is it no less valid than many of the things we grasp onto in our own beliefs?

I imagine down the road a viewer of this image will be pondering another religion and say - but wait. There was that fire that looked like Pope John Paul! I must be strong in my faith.
Insert ironic quote from fellow board member here.

It also looks like me when I'm lifting weights.....HALLELUJAH!!!

Either it means I will dwell with God in everlasting burnings or burn in hell forever. Either way....it's a sign.

Actually, I think he was mocking all religion. The fact that Mormons fall under that umbrella is just gravy.

Still waiting for Will to back this up...

Maybe his Spirit was reaching out for a marshmallow. In hell you only get the chocolate and the grahamcracker. Satan is soooooo evil.
