And Mormonism is one bad mother...

I'm talking about Mormonism.

For example when Levi Hancock went to Joseph Smith asking for permission to marry his sweetheart, Joseph said he would grant permission only if Levi arranged to get Fanny Alger (Levi's niece) to marry him. Also, Joseph taught that (again since marriage contracts were voided by the restoration), men with higher priesthood ranking had the right to take wives of lesser priesthood rank as their own without a divorce. This of course explains the rationale behind some of Joseph's polyandry.

Anyway, it's a great read and extremely well-researched.

I had thought this idea was original to Brigham

I see....and the idea that a spire is a symbol for the search of humanity for God had nothing to do with it. Methinks there is a slight Freudian obsession here.

OMG! I LOVE THIS! I want this in my signature, but it keeps saying it's too long!

DAMN!

Keene! Fix the signature length, or I'm getting out my whip!

;)

What am I doing on a board where use of the word retarded in jest causes people to condemn but relating an entire religion to a monument that the sex-obsessed somehow construe as a gigantic phallus is signature worthy? Why don't you just defecate on his grave and be done with it?

Chill out, Nehor. You were being a smart-ass and she one-up'd you. That's why it was signature-worthy.

You were the smart ass first. Deal with it.

Well I'd one up her back but I realized I might cause a reverse in the banning policy.
