You are fighting a losing battle. You may win a few battles, but in the end you will lose the war. Better to surrender now. You cannot, and you never will, defeat the purposes of God.
You gotta be worst than a retarded not to see that this plan is going DOWNHILL, ASAP. In fact I can tell you with confidence there was not a single conversion of a family in Western Europe, let alone an educated person In Nothern America.
Prove me wrong, show me the multitudes joining instead of resigning.
Do you know why? because you have such a moronic lame leadership led by a senile prophet, one after another...
God's plan suck and old geezers know it. So, why don't you pay your tithing and count your blessings. While I blow my money for the most wicked things.
Like women and booze.

I don't have to prove anything to you. Enjoy your women and booze. It might take your mind of Mormonism.

You can? Not one family in western Europe. Care to put a time limit on that? Hmmm and NOT ONE educated person has joined in all of North America? Can you please prove this? It is not up to me to prove you wrong, though I could for North America rather easily. You made the stupid claim.

If you go to YouTube and view this video, do a couple of searches on anything Mormon and you will see a huge array of videos about the Mormons. A few are positive but my perception is the bulk is negative to the church. This media is a new missionary for or against the church. This is the way that a new generation gets much of its information. You can find information on polygamy, DNA, genealogy, Book of Mormon, Book of Abraham and many other subjects in a form that is easier than reading a book. It seems to me that the volume has increased even in that last 6 months or so. I see the future becoming more difficult for the church as the internet and websites like these gain steam.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

I don't think so. I think the church will adapt and make whatever changes are necessary to appeal to the masses. AFTER the current crop of leaders is dead (so we likely have a few years to wait). I think the church will open up the priesthood to women, because doing so will bring in a whole bunch of new converts. AFTER the current crop of leaders is dead.

YOu think?
Who is the current crop? One recent apostle, who seem pretty conservative, is like 54. And he is very healthy, in great shape and exercises a lot! That is Elder Bednar. Elder Uchdorf is pretty young too.

I was thinking of the elderly corp we're stuck with currently. I gave up on them every coming up with anything remotely revelatory, and am currently hoping they don't do anything too stupid before they meet their Maker. Prior to Bednar and Uchdorf, wasn't Pres Monson the youngest, and he's what... in his 70's, isn't he? I cling to hopes that the younger generation, raised by mothers who grew up in the 60's at least, will have a different worldview.

No.
Monson is 79 or 80. Packer is like 81, Nelson 80 or 81, Eyring mid 70's, Oaks Maybe 71 0r 72, And Holland is 66 or so.
For these other, you and I will be dead by then

Well, not unless something really untoward happens. I'm Bednar's age. I think the new communication media will push the church to make some decisions they've been putting off for a decade or more. In the next 20 years, I think we will see more change than we've seen since 1978. I could be wrong; I've been wrong before. But I can hope, for the sake of my children's children.
