No, I don't have a home teaching companion because I don't have a home teaching assignment at all, not because they trust me to go it alone. :-)

When I stopped attending, I told the bishop and EQ idiot to knock off both sides of the petty HT BS.

It took the several months and several explicit email and phone messages to get it through their thick skulls.

When the ward changed bishop positions, the new one wised up in one interview to stay the hell away from me. He asked me to stay away from HIS members.. I told him he was deluded in thinking these people belonged to him.

I told him I would not go and pursue any members, but if any approached me with questions, or harassed my wife or kids in anyway, they would be fair game.

So far he has kept his end of the agreement.

In a twisted way I wish he wouldn't, I miss the look of horror on the faces of the unwitting members.. *sigh*

LOL. I didn't mean "like that." I meant most EQ guys don't know who their HT companion is because nobody does it.

Hmmmmm. You immediately assumed I accused you of knowing your home teaching companion "like that." How interesting. Your knee-jerk defensiveness tells me you are hiding something. My gift of discernment forces me to ask the question. Is there is something fishy going on between the two of you? Are you "companions" in other ways? Do you hold the iron rod, or do you hold HIS iron rod?
