Joseph Smith didn't own KJV prior to Book of Mormon, some speculate. So what?

No one else in NY had a copy of KJV, I suppose, other than the Smith family.

That is one of the dumbest arguments I've heard in a long time.

If the argument is really trying to prove that Joseph couldn't have copied long passages into the Book of Mormon (the Isaiah chapters in 2nd Nephi) no body needs to even try it.

Emma, and many others who witnessed the "translation" process said Joseph had nothing he was reading off. And since you critics love to bring up that Joseph had his face in a hat, where do you suppose the manuscript pages he was trying to copy off were? Remember, it was dark in that hat.

Oh, and the memorize long passages and put yourself in a trance and repeat them idea? That is one of the most far fetched things to ocme down the pike in a long time. A l-o-o-o-n-g time.

Who says we accept that the hat method was used all the time? I don't.

Isn't it obvious that Moroni and the other writers before him possessed a copy of the KJV?

Funny how Reformed Egyptian translates so perfectly into 1611 English.
"Brigham said the day would come when thousands would be made Eunuchs in order for them to be saved in the kingdom of God." (Wilford Woodruff's Diary, June 2, 1857, Vol. 5, pages 54-55)
