Good thing no one ever replies to me more than once in a thread. If that. :)

Oh lord, I would never bother with a separate document either. I just do everything in the composition window.

The little buttons on the top really help out us lazy folk.

Yes, praise be to the lil buttons!

And thanks for being my one reply on this thread. ;)
Thanks all. I am trying this little test run in wordperfect, which is my preferred word procesing document.
.
I am glad that I am not the only one who has trouble with this stuff.

Now I am going to see if this works

Nope. I'll have to try again.

You have it bass ackwards, charity.

This: [ quote] goes first

And this: [ /quote] goes last.

I added an extra space like Shades did right after the first brackets. Do NOT pay attention to Shades..he's just showing off with the red and all!

;-P

p.s. He thinks he runs this place!

You got them reversed is all, Charity.

[ quote ] goes at the front. [ /quote ]--the one WITH the forward slash--goes at the end.

Good luck!

"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Charity, when you do the quote do the / at the end of the quote, not at the beginning.

ALSO: When you attribute a quote to a person, there must be NO spaces on either side of the the "equal" sign. In addition, you must enclose the person's name in quotation marks.

Therefore, what you should've written on that second line of yours is:

[ quote="charity" ]

(Without the spaces, of course.)
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

You can do it too, Jersey Girl. Just type:

[ color=red ]This sentence is in red font.[ /color ]

Or, if you really want to jazz things up, try this:

[ color=blue ]This sentence is in blue font.[ /color ]

Of course, you can pick any (basic) color you like.

See what I mean?

I know how to do it, Shades. I just don't have to show off like you do. Like you're in charge or something.

The easiest way to learn how to do this is to press the quote function, and see how the author of a post uses the quote function.
