What is your avatar and why did you choose it?
My avatar is Ned Flanders as the Devil, from The Simpsons.
The reason for this avatar is because when I left the church, I still felt as if I were the same person I'd always been. My morals and integrity didn't collapse under my new found atheism. In fact, quite the opposite. However, to all the TBM's around me, I was treated with disdain and mistrust. They had all been taught, and pretty firmly believed, that once you leave the church, you are doomed to travel the path of the wicked man. They viewed me as the Devil.
This is why I love my avatar. Just in case any of you don't know about Ned Flanders, he is probably the most righteous man on the planet. There is an episode where one of his boys is being swept away in a river and Ned prays to God something like, "Flanders to God Flanders to God get off your cloud and save my Todd !" A storm cloud appears immediately and lighting strikes a tree which falls into the river and Todd is saved.
There is another episode (I believe it's one of the Halloween ones) where Homer sells his soul to the Devil for a donut. Of course the Devil is always the last person you'd expect him to be. So they use Ned.
Lets hear about yours...

Mine is "Condorito," a popular South American comic book character. We used to read Condorito comics on our missions because our Argentine mission president told us that the comics were harmless and would help us learn vocabulary.

My avatar is also Ned Flanders, same reason.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

Uhh, no it isn't.
Are you on drugs?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

It's me.
You can guess which of the two.

My avatars are usually pictures of me, but I've used my feet in polka-dot shoes, various cupcakes (including an angry one smashing buildings and stepping on cars), and for a brief time, Princess Kashmir from the Simpsons, 'cause Bond said she was my Simpsons character.
I have no good reason for using any of them. I just change avatars on a whim. :)

That's a pretty personal question, shades. If I am on drugs, is there something wrong with that?

I used to have an avatar of the road to Hana, but when the board switched, it didn't translate.
So it's a hammock for now (a good place to relax and hang out until I can successfully miniaturize a photographic depiction of the Hana Highway).

The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.
