What is your avatar and why did you choose it?

Mine is the last pagan emperor of the Roman Empire, Julian the Apostate. He was raised Christian and converted to "Hellenism." As emperor he tried to promote Hellenism and he stripped away Christianity's special imperial privileges and imperial monetary support. He died after reigning 3 short years, and all of his "reforms" came to nothing.
I chose him because I do Roman history, because Christianity sometimes irks me, and because I am a sucker for lost causes.

“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

PS, I was going to use my own photo, but I'm not smart enough to figure out how.
Cacheman, what's the problem with your own photo? Does it need to be resized? Bond could help you out, I'm certain.

Yeah. I've got a photo, that I put on my webpage, but when I tried toupload it, it was too large. I'm working on an old computer at home, and I don't have any software that can change the size. (not even mspaint:0)

You know, I was just thinking that charity's avatar is also the background on my computer at home, though sometimes it's this picture of the Cochabamba Bolivia Temple

I call out my own name.
Woops, that's DCP... (I mean, comon, picture it, fat bald guy, calling out his own name.. Oh Daniel.. Oh Daniel...) of course, that is while he is writing his latest 10 thousand word response to why worms in South America were not mentioned in the Book of Mormon proper.
Mine is of course, myself, with absolutely no shame.

I, too, am using my actual photo.
Okay, okay. I believe I've said this elsewhere, but I selected The Architect from the Matrix films as an homage to two of my all-time favorite posters: exegete and Rollo Tomasi. I also picked The Architect since the views he expresses in The Matrix Reloaded remind me a great deal of "the Mormon Condition." Ray A has said of me that I seem like a "dour prosecutor," so I guess I selected the proper avatar.
