I like cheerleaders, I used to date one. Brilliant girl, very hot, great wit. I'm now wondering why I let her get away.........

Did she not believe in Sky Daddy?

I'm sorry, I'm not up on your pagan references, I was under the impression you were still worshipping your phallus. Still, good to have an expanding pantheon I guess.

I'm not the only one, either. ;-)

Did the cheerleader not believe in a future of sister wives, Celestial sex, and the bearing of untold trillions of trillions of spirit babies into all eternity?

Funny, you know we never discussed it. We were too busy planning out our pleasure planet and trying to figure out if it would be too much if the constellations spelled out our names arouind it and trying to decide whether the sky would be purple or orange.

This doesn't make sence.

I think Coggins ought to call for the "nuking" of FARMS/MAD, since they won't accept him and treat him as if he's "intellectually serious."

Why not? Can you worship yourself? If so, why wouldn't God be able to worship himself? I'm asking whether it's possible for God to worship Himself? I'm also asking if God does answer Himself.

This brought on by The Nehor's barb to Sethbag about Sethbag's manliness.

Pirate, read it this way: Does God worship himself? Can God worship himself?

Those were the questions that asbestosman posed. :)

by the way, what's wrong with cheerleaders Coggins?

I don't understand the concept of God or gods and worship. Why does a God need to be constantly worshipped? Is he some kind of narcissist or something?

What kind of being bothers to create for himself a universe consisting of billions of galaxies, each of which is populated by billions of stars, on untold worlds of which evolve intelligent creatures, all so they can go around constantly exclaiming how great and marvelous this God character is?

Since when is literally everything in the entire universe all about advancing the perception of fantasticality of God?
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

If you consider worship in the sense only EV style praise gatherings then yes, it is kinda shallow. Real worship leads to imitation. Praise is healthy. When I find a book I love or a movie that inspires, I want to go share it with someone. Same with God. Then again, if you haven't read the book, seen the movie, or met the God then it seems pretty mindless.
