Nah, unless you add in the requirement that you actually dig up some iron ore, reduce it with charcoal into elemental iron, and then forge it into all of the tools that you'll need for your canoe, and then go cut down the right kind of tree, in the right season, quarter it with the handmade tools, season it, and then saw it into all the wood you'll need for your canoe, also with your own handmade iron tools, before you even begin with the canoe, you'll probably be just fine.

Actually, I want to build a 15-16' wooden sailboat in my garage someday. I've spent hours in the past looking at plans on the internet. Of course, no smelting of iron ore would be required, and I'd use previously-prepared plywood for the bulk of the construction, so I won't have to pull a Nephi.

Trevor: you got that right, bro. I have to sigh and realize how pathetic our existence is when, as an atheist, I'm compelled to acknowledge that this exaltation on this board is the only exaltation any of us are ever going to get.
