As you and Harmony have both pointed out, a rank-and-file member simply cannot have the same kind of access to "Christ's Grad Seminars" as an apostle. In essence, whoever this nameless apostle was, has committed a grievous error.

What would be the point of apostles, if every Tom, Dick, and Mary has the same access?

Which, of course, raises the question of why this Apostle of whom Nehor speaks was getting everyone's hopes up.

I disagree, the experience is open to all.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

You believe, then, that if you are righteous and obedient enough, you will be invited into the SLC temple in order to attend one of these "seminars"? Or do you believe instead that the Savior will appear at your doorstep in order to educate you?

You feel the need to give odd details of "seminars" and "doorsteps," but I prefer to find instances of the scriptures of encounters with God. I encourage you to do the same.

Ya know, I just thought of something. There is in fact an interpretation that hasn't been considered. It is possible that the Brethren, in the midst of all their self-important religious pipe smoking, have really come to believe that Jesus is a semi rugged-looking white guy who now wears a suit with white shirt and power tie, shaves, and keeps his hair short.

It is further possible that this being the case, some semi rugged-looking white guy with a lot of self-confidence and a sense of humor snuck into the temple and announced himself as the Savior, and the Brethren bought into it like they bought into (literaly) Hoffman's forgeries. It's possible Holland really was telling the truth, and that very morning had received 'revelation' from a mid-tier CEO-looking guy that he believes is the resurrected Christ.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

most of the scenes in a passion of the Christ had this big bearded guy sad guy in all this pain but there was one scene where I thought they hit the mark which showed Jesus with short hair, without a beard, laughing while making things but they showed it for like three seconds - I thought: you idiots - that's him why did you change the scene.

pick your Jesus:

Quite an intriguing anecdote over on thefoyer.org:

Yes, very intriguing exmo/anti-Mormon folklore. Just the kind of thing exmo's like you need to get you through the night when you can't get laid.

Getting a life may hurt for a little while Scratch, but its all for the better.

Trust me.

Stop thinking of things Gad, it does you no credit.
