"I have half a mind to kill you myself, you half-wit."
Is that what you have to say to the women who "married" Joseph Smith?
No, I was quoting from above clip.
Those women made their decision. It's theirs. I let them have it. I've read the journals of some of my polygamous great-great grandmothers. I get the impression they'd knock you upside the head if you tried to defend them as victims.
"Surely he knows that DCP, The Nehor, Lamanite, and other key apologists..." -Scratch clarifying my status in apologetics "I admit it; I'm a petty, petty man." -Some Schmo

I know you were, but you preceded it by saying:
Spike sums up what I think of people who get into these situations
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Why do you need to let them have it Nehor? How bout letting the man have it? Huh?
You call the women that slept with Joseph Smith half-wits too?
Okay, not ranting, yet, just an observation. Is this the mindset of many of LDS that men are just sexual predators and a nasty, disgusting sex, where women must always be on the lookout? That if a man uses the female sexually that the woman is to blame for this? I've seen the "what did you expect?" mindset a few times from males (a few females too) on this board and it stuns me. Why are men assumed to be predators and the women assumed to be stupid? Why is that?

Because men have all the authority and power in the church and women let them get away with not sharing.
