30 Billion? Closer to 100 BLN but regardless.. such a small percentage of the people who have lived on this earth have heard of Joseph Smith or the Book of Mormon, if this was God's plan, then it is a major clusterf***...
Or he only wanted a fraction to have it offered to them in mortality....one of the two.

It won't cover the earth until the millenium. the Book of Mormon teaches that the numbers of the Saints will be few (though they will be all over).

Well, the few part is correct. ;)
I expect at some point our growth will plateau and maybe we will even shrink. If you take the Virgins parables literally we'll lose half.

Just my opinion, but growth rates seem to have peaked in the late 1980s to early 1990s. In terms of numbers, the church is almost at a plateau, with only growth rates in undeveloped areas (which, those of us who served missions there know are highly suspect) keeping the church growing in a positive direction.

I agree with your analysis but I'm not sure if this is a temporary stopping point before large amounts of growth or the calm before the storm hits.
