A Pretty interesting article = How many more threads do I have to do before you all hate Mormons as much as I do???
Huh? I love Mormons -- I just found this kid particularly odd.
He's probably THE best player on the team, and is definitely my favorite. However, this comment makes it a bit harder for me to root for him and the cougars now.
I just have to remind myself he's only 21/22, and fresh off a mission. I was probably saying the same ignorant things at that age too.
WK: "Joseph Smith asserted that the Book of Mormon peoples were the original inhabitants of the americas"
Will Schryver: "No, he didn’t." 3/19/08
Still waiting for Will to back this up...

And he just happened to be a "Mormon kid". I suppose all of your other threads just "happened" to focus on Mormons. Odd, that. 20,000 kids with hyperactive disorders, but Rollo just "happened" to mention the "Mormon kid". Ed Decker loves Mormons too. In his own very special way. He talks about nothing else. He absolutely loves them! Why should he consider what 19,999 hyperactive children have to say, when he can highlight what ONE hyperactive "Mormon kid" said?

Collie's comments were in the news; hence, the reason I brought up the article. This is a Mormon discussion board, so it seemed relevant to bring up. If you have no interest, then don't open threads I begin or read links I post.
"Moving beyond apologist persuasion, LDS polemicists furiously (and often fraudulently) attack any non-traditional view of Mormonism. They don't mince words -- they mince the truth."

This is a stellar example of the BYU attitude. "We are special", "We are the chosen generation", "God loves us so much he used his magic to help us win a stupid game against another group of his children who are ALSO chosen and special, they just go to the wrong school". ARGH! As if God has nothing to do except make sure the Blue Cougs win a dumb game. No hungry children to feed, no wars to negociate, no murders to stop, no rapes to defend against...no no no! God is making sure BYU wins!
Dumb! Dumb! and it disgusts me that my tithing dollar supports this idiot's education, such as it obviously is! Somebody please take that boy in hand and explain to him that God had NOTHING to do with it! And while they're at it, please explain that football has absolutely NOTHING to do with real life (and I can say that because my son still plays semi-pro).

I don't know Harmony....in 1974 I prayed that Provo High would beat Orem in the State Championship basketball game. He heard me. They won by 1 point.....for the 2nd year in a row. Obviously, the Bulldogs were more worthy than the Tigers. ;-)
