Ya know, I'm not sure exactly how that song is a tribute to prophets, except for the first 2 lines. Then it just goes on to say how great God is.

I stand corrected on who(m) it is written to although if the President of the Church is in the building all eyes are on him when it is sung. The smitten thingy also stood out because I'm pretty sure this was written in Kirtland which meant fleeing Kirtland, Missouri and Nauvoo were all in the future.
