Well, you have to have immense... something for it to start working... imagination? Delusion? Insanity? Brain damage?
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Somehow, I doubt the real Mark Hofmann would've misspelled his own name.

I don't think it is a superstitious idea.
You don't see using a stone in a hat as being superstitious? I find this comment to be either a dodgy lie or further evidence of your blatant ignorance and naivity.

I am totally distressed. Isn't there a third possibility?
Or should we redefine the words "lie" or "ignorance" to convey any positive connotation?
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

I prefer to burn witches. It's not smart-mouthed children, it's drunkards and reprobates. I'm fine with stoning them.

True! Now where were you when "the brethren" were fooled by Hofman?! They could have used your genius...I mean, "inspiration!"

It would be cool if they had a little seer stone as a spell checker. actually the devining rod is a better one as I hear the way it worked as it went to one side for true or yes and went to the other for false or no. Can you imagine BYU students with a devining rod in their hand looking for someone to marry.
I want to fly!
