Question,

You know I know your reason for leaving Mormonism. How would you like it if you made a post, and I went off and grabbed a bunch of stuff from different boards, mixed them up, then publicly made nasty statements about it, trying to make it YOUR fault and then start demanding it was proof you need serious help? Would you enjoy that? Would it be fair? Or do you think it would be unnessesary and mean spirited?

You need an update, Josh.

1. I am an active temple recommend carrying multiple calling holding Mormon.

2. I own every word I ever wrote. I freely admit when I am wrong, mistaken, misled, uninformed, and downright stupid. I also allow myself to change my mind. I do not consider myself locked into one paradigm that never changes.

3. I think everyone needs counseling, including me. There is nothing shameful about having a counselor. My Sweet Pickle has two of them. Even my bishop has two of them.

But it is not the right of people like "Beastie" to decide who needs help and who doesn't. I assume everyone on this board is much different in real life than on a message board. There are a few people who were on the old ZLMB or FAIR boards that caught up with me, learned who I really was, and laughed at the fact I am nothing like what they thought.

But whatever.

Be careful, changing your mind around here can be dangerous. At least, if you're backing the "wrong horse".

I'm gonna try to keep my comments on this to a bare minimum. I was reading something the other day where a person had done a certain thing and remarked, "Well, that's ten minutes I'll never get back" and it impacted me because I recently was involved in a similar time draining situation such as that going on here regarding josh and others.

Ray and josh are no different than any other of the "personalities" on this board and I find it odd that their appearances here are met with such a circus-like response.

Why the reposting of old posts from other boards? Seriously, what is the point of this? Is there a need for such blood letting around here and what might that be?

What is the difference between dragging out posts regarding josh's mental/medical status and remarks attributed to DCP about Quinn's homosexuality? Is there value in playing both sides of the "value field" around here? What is that about?

I'm no saint but seriously guys, this mob scene is kinda nuts.

Shutting my virtual mouth now*,
Jersey Girl

*possibly not

I prefer to stay north of the south end of the horse, no matter what brand it is. And I reserve the right to change my mind. I am a work in progress, not a work locked in stone.

That's where you're wrong, Jersey Girl.

Both are like the kid who pokes a dog with a sharp stick, and then complains when the dog bites back. Both are notorious on multiple boards for dramatic entrances and exits. There are few posters out there in Internet Mormonville (or Exmoville) who have similar reputations.
The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.

So this board is only for people who agree with you? Any alternative beliefs are "poking"? So what do you call it when a whole board is filled with people who actively attack someone else's religion? Or are Anti-Mormons the only ones allowed to voice their opinions and the LDS should just bend over and take it?

Hypocracy.

Look lady or sir,

I didn't magically appear from out of nowhere on this board. I've known of and about both of them for several years. Your personal bantering with them and about them is stupidly useless and remarkably mobbish in nature. Please shut the hell up and let this board be used for topical matter. Or not. It's your ten minutes.
