I did come here for debate, but every few moments, I have to wade through garbage like Beastie and Mr. Scratchy keep pumping out. I mean seriously. How adult is it to go around and drag up dirt on someone and arrogantly act as if you can make judgements on their mental state.

How do we debate in a way that people will keep out, or at least only offer unpersonal counterpoints?

Look, guys, this thread is about Josh's Youtube video, so he IS the topic. I'm about through with it myself, but it seems practical to continue comments about the content of other threads, such as homosexuality, on those original threads instead of asking for their return on this one.

I lurk a lot and post little but I have to admit to my disappointment with Mr. Scratch in regard to this PM issue. I would like to see Mr. Scratch ask the third party powers that be to shine a light on the truth of the matter.

If both Ray A and Mr. Scratch are in agreement about letting Keene, or whoever has the power, to release the origina PM, then that would put this to rest. And I think that would be fair.

Personally, I am a critic of the church and I generally tend to agree with the critics here, but in my opinion, I feel a bit let down by Mr. Scratch on this point. I want the criticism of the church to be done on fair grounds.

If I am wrong in siding a bit more with Ray A on this one, I can accept that and I apologize, but I think an authoritative third party intervention would show that this board is the best place to be when you want to freely express your ideas.

I was banned from MAD several months ago for expressing my opinions and I feel like this board is far and away the fairest of the two. For me, resolving this scuffle between Ray A and Mr. Scratch would go a long way to maintaining that reputation.

If this is not possible, I'll live with it, but I'm curious and a tad concerned.

Keene has the power, and I have no problem with him using that power on this occasion. If Keene has the intergity, then he will re-post exactly what Scratch posted in that PM, which I also posted. Then all will see what a liar and manipulative scoundrel Scratch is.

I hope Mr. Scratch gives his permission in this instance as you have done. I think it is premature, however, to question Keene's integrity. Taunting the moderator is not a good way to create good will.
