How do you reconcile the unchristian doctrines in Mormonism with your belief you are a Christian?

Could you break this down for us?

Standard stuff. Godhead vs Trinity, the Book of Mormon vs the Bible, Nicene...its a big list.

That would be a great hour of television. Maybe make it a miniseries.

One can not seriously believe the Mormon religion in its entirety is christian. Historically they have distanced themselves from the title Christian or have been so wishywashy about that designation to make the label so watered down it becomes useless.

Mormons are christian the same way Moonies could be considered christian.

Personally I do not think Mitt should have to answer anything regarding his religion except the one question he did answer, and that is he would put his duty as president OVER his religion.

Anything else he should just say... "if you are interested in my religion you can call the missionaries or check out LDS. org.

What qualities do you take away from Joseph Smith and what behavior do you find objectionable?

Why in the hell "should" he have to answer such a question? How many Christian politicians had to answer similar questions about Jesus? How many Jewish politicians had to answer such questions about Abraham? Why should ROmney be treated any differently?

This refers to the exemption missionaries had during the Vietnam war. And how Mitt supports the current war. I think. Although I've been wrong about Merc's meaning before, so I could be wrong again.

2. What do you admire most about Ted Haggard and Jim Bakker? How will your leadership as president incorporate those qualities?
3. Why did the Christian churches bow to political pressure to accept the Nicean creed and apostatize from the true Church?
