Speaking of gossip, anyone else find, in their life's experience, that Mormons are actually terrible gossips?

I have found the best way to find out what is going on in the "Ward" is to go down to the corner and talk to my Mormon neighbors. There is dirt to be found everywhere with them. Gossip gossip gossip.

I don't think the Pundits section has been active in awhile--maybe that's a place to start.

I think this is very telling. They have the tools to achieve other types of dialog, but they are not using them. I surmise they are really not interested.

I think Juliann is just most concerned about the ratio of apologist to non believers. She is concerned that the non-believers are too often getting the upper hand.

If she gets what she want (as she stated) to simply ban people to keep the ratio in check, it will eventually kill the board I believe. And it will be an administration nightmare:

Regular poster A: Hey where did Poster X go?
Regular Poster B: He was banned, ratio out of check again.
Regular poster A: Oh that sucks, well at least we are still here.

Now, you have gone from being gossipy little old ladies on the fence, to a bunch of green apple throwing juveniles. YOu don't like the MA&D board, so leave them alone. Let's see can we say, you can leave the MA&D board, but you can't leave it alone. I haven't seen one thread over there talking about this board, and yet look at what is happening over here. Thread after thread.

We just don't go to sleep, conjure up our evil spirits as guides to concoct plans to disrupt MADD thread after thread. It is up to the heroes like Juliann, DCP, Mods to expose bad apples like us, so they can have a sanitized environment to butter up, congratulate each-other for Job-Well-Done.

Censorship is the dumbest, stupidest way to control a board.

You haven't seen a thread over there talking about this board? Go seek my name there and read tatle tale of DCP, getting royally pissed off, (copying/pasting a post of mine here about him).
It is a well documented hobby of DCP & his cohorts to monitor sites like this (As Mr. Scratch well documented), thus he returns & reports, greatly easing the burden of separating chaff from the wheat as you would say, Charity

Well a taste for gossip must be one of the things ex-mormons don't lose when they leave the church. When I want gossip about MADB, I come here. You guys always seem to have an ear to the keyhole when it comes to skuttlebut.
