I think Mercury is Mister Scratch. Sometimes. But compared to Mercury, who is devoid of all humanity, I see some in Mister Scratch. Maybe it's his "put on". Sam summed this pathetic "human being" up better than anyone I have read, and I think highly of Sam's intelligence. Mercury is not human, he's a bigot of the worst kind, but some are very slow to realise this.
Don't open any links Mercury places on the board, and delete any emails he sends you, because he's a felon who should be behind bars.
Oh, well I see lots of humanity, compassion, and consideration in Mercury -- and have witnessed it often. I dunno, Ray, I am pretty certain Merc is not Mr. Scratch. Fairly certain on that one. Anyway, I like Merc.
Although, he can be a bit crass to those he opposes. Although we've tussled on the boards before and I didn't mind his bark so much. He's alright by me.

See my edit, too. Sorry Mon, I like you, but sometimes you deserve what you get for being so stupid.

But I guess this is the sort of "man" women fall for. Don't blame all men for that.
I think you're wrong about both of those men, Ray. Seriously. I don't think Merc presents a facade about his wife, at all. I think he adores her and his young family very much. He's a very proud father, and has been in all sincerity a wonderful person to get to know on these boards.

No hard feelings, I hope.
Haha. Thanks, Ray. But, I gotta say, I probably have more dialog with many of these people on both sides of the debate than most others and see different aspects of their personality. I'm just saying, I don't have an agenda that I bring with me to the board and see the people and not the debate. I'm telling you that I know Merc to be a good man. And there's no more flat out way I can say that. Is he a pisser of an ex-Mo? Yep. Is he vulgar and crass? Indubitably! Yet, he's okay -- really.

And this is what men do to women - all the time. You've swallowed his BS lines, Mon. I've often seen women here defend him, but in this case I trust Sam's judgement, backed by my own experience. Mercury is nothing but a self-serving bigot who calls his opponents "retards". You try to work out why anyone who claims to be an exmo, or harbours exmo sentiment, would send 20-plus emails with viruses to another exmo, with the intent of hacking into the recipient's computer.

Is it? Well, lemme tell you who I fall for, okey dokey? I fall for men that aren't usually considerate to me. I fall for men that rarely show me compassion and care. Despite both PP and Merc's shortcomings (and PP is an absolute friggin asshole to me sometimes) they've both at one time or another shown me a tremendous amount of both. So, ya see? They're too darn good for me. :)

Would you like to date such a person? Good luck.
Haha. I have no intention of dating Mercury, and he's never shown the inclination. Matter of fact he's always been NOTHING but a complete and total gentleman to me -- at all times.

I'm warning you again, don't click on any links Mercury posts, and delete any emails he may send you.
Other than that, you can like him all you like.
There are some exmos you can trust, and others you simply can't. I disagree 95% with Sam, but I trust him, and his honesty. I liked him when he posted here, and I believe he's too honest in regard to his disaffection from the Church.
Mercury is nothing but a can of worms I can do without.
