TA DA!!! My Book of Mormon in Mesoamerica website

Post by _beastie »

I'm finally finished. There are a few formatting issues I could fix up to look prettier, but I'm pretty sick of it right now and want a break. I will be adding more information.

These are the same essays that I have posted on zarahemlacitylimits, but with pictures, and, of course, my own domain.

Let me know if you have suggestions or see problems. I can't promise I'll fix it right away because I AM SICK OF IT, but eventually I will.

It is very attractive. But I can't read the content, because the print is so little and the wallpaper intrusive. And I have a large monitor.

Can you enlarge the type font? It looks as if you are using 10 point type.

Here's how you can fix it: Close the whole reeking pile of steaming horse nuggets down, repent of your pride and rebellion against your Father in Heaven, Cease with the intellectual straw grasping and hand wringing over ambiguous historical issues, and return to the Church.

We're all SICK OF IT too.

Great job Beastie!

:-)

It is looking great! WAY TO GO!

I think narrowing the page would be helpful and I think a plain background is easier to read... maybe the map skin can be on the side? It is great though. I'm so glad you got this going.

Also, later, (when you are ready for round two... smile), maybe you could link your other discussions and online interactions? I have found them very helpful!

As one who has really struggled with web design, I'm cheering your work and am totally impressed!

Wow! There's a lot of content there! I really like how you did the table of contents and broke it up into digestible pieces. Great job, Beastie!

Yeah, I can increase the font. Is it all the wallpaper that is intrusive, or just the darker one, like on the metallurgy page?

The metallurgy page is difficult to read because of the darker background. I think the rest of the backgrounds would be fine with a larger font.
