Ooo, I like that. But I'm using frontpage, which is wysiwyg, and I can't figure out how to do that. Do you not agree that all my backgrounds should be the same? And what do you think about moksha's text suggestion (although I haven't figure out how to do that yet on frontpage)

I think you need to at least stick with one background color, if not one pattern. Are the background patterns eternal? If not, you could change them from time to time as you like.

I love the div tag look!

I'm sketchy on the front page. Not sure about the background on that. The native guy (please remember that you're the expert, not me;-) can you sandwich the table of contents thingy inbetween the native guy and the bottom image?

Sorry, I don't use frontpage.

However, there should be a place where you can edit the style of an element. Your text should be an element.

I take it back. The horse background is really cool. The only one I dislike (because it's just busy enough to make reading difficult) is the clouds.

Forget what Shades and the Penguin say. What do they know? ;-)

I really, Really, REALLY like the suns and glyphs!

I KNOW! I can't stand to give up those glyphs, I tell ya! I'm going to try and figure out the div tag thing first.

This is your work and your passion. Use whatever the hell backgrounds and fonts please you. But the div tag thing really is way cool, 'cause it makes the text jump out.

The bald guy and the bird are out to lunch.

Yeah, I really want to do the div tag, but am having a h**l of a time figuring out how to do it in frontpage. ARRRGH!!

I grabbed this off of a forum,,,,,does this help?

Here you go...

You can change the "left" to "right" and/or and create a bigger space between the text and the ads by increasing the 2px to whatever,

As for the backgrounds, I'd lose the main page one.

I do like the idea of different backgrounds though.
