If you don't visit my fabulous new mormonmesoamerica.com website, you are a LOOOOOSER.
And if I do visit your fabulous new mormonmesoamerica.com website, does that make me a TIIIIIIIIIIGHTER?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

That's not the point, Jersey Girl. If you have a website investigating claims, you also have a responsibility to present all sides of the debate. This may not be beastie's aim, but if not, then most informed readers will see it as being very partisan, and it's much more likely to be dismissed by Mormons, especially informed ones. So far, I don't find it very compelling at all.

Oh. What you seem to be saying is that she should back her assertions (Rigdon in this case) with proof/evidences?
I'm a believer in getting facts. Even beastie says she isn't sure of this, and states what she believes.

I have no problem with her stating what she believes, but trite dismissals of substantive arguments against what she believes doesn't look very objective. But that's beastie's choice, it's her website, and she can do whatever she wants with it. I'm pointing out what I think will be some serious criticisms of the style and content.
I explicitly stated that I could not possibly address every issue regarding the historicity of the Book of Mormon, and was focusing on those that were of a particular interest to me. If you're going to spend your time complaining about what didn't interest me enough to address, you're wasting your time.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

That's fine. I'm just pointing out the weaknesses to those who think you can take on FARMS, like TD. And if you do decide to go down that path, you have some 28 years of reading to catch up on. I don't believe the evidences and arguments are so cut-and-dried. In any case it would be interesting to see if FARMS does respond. Even if they don't, perhaps your response blog will make for good reading.

Why anyone would want to respond the utter nonsense over there completely escapes me.
