No we wouldn't. The tone, the moderating, the dismissal of all threads as frivolous or insulting or attacking are all just excuses, smoke and mirrors. The reason we don't have more TBM's posting on this board is because they instinctively know what will happen here. They get their tails handed to them on a daily basis. The evidence is overwhelmingly against the LDS church as it is currently run, and as it's early history is reported. An amateur apologist is simply overwhelmed.
I have a great admiration for charity, Coggins, Ray, Nehor, Gaz, etc. They are here, slogging away in the trenches every single day, in an uphill battle that they are destined to never win, yet they don't give up. i don't often agree with them, but I admire their tenacity. I have little respect for Daniel, Scott Lloyd, Pent/CI, Smac, etc. because they simply do not engage when and where they could and should. I have more respect for Bokovoy, since he at least has had the balls to come here and engage his critics. Any apologist who refuses the level playing field is simply not worthy of the title. Staying in a protected environment is foolish and cowardly. God doesn't need cowards. God needs warriors; instead, he has creampuffs.
But what apologist wants to come to a critic heavy board where personal attacks are quite the norm if you disagree with certain posters?? If you believe, you are automatically a moron, retard, idiot, etc.
That would be MAD. The insults are just as prevelant; they're just ignored by the TBM mods if they come from fellow TBMs.
