OOoooh, so that's where judgmental righteous folks get that? Too bad for them they're not Jesus. So until they are a deity in human form they can *edited out something not very kind*.

Is it true that there is a bedroom set aside for him in the Salt Lake Temple?

Does Jesus actually need to sleep? If he does, does he have dreams? What would Jesus dream about? Does he fall asleep on command, or does he sometimes have to count sheep for a while?

I'm wondering if he'll bring his wife or wives with him when he comes. After all, he'll be around for 1000 years, wouldn't that be a long time to be away from the fam? Will he require a whole suite of rooms for his entire entourage of wives? Will they be able to reproduce during this time?

Questions, questions! I'm intrigued by Charity's statement that Jesus ought not to be put up in a Motel 6. Why not? What reason have any of us to suppose that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who left his palace on a planet near Kolob to come slum with the Earthlings for 1000 years, would really give a crap where he was housed while here? Would not the distance between the greatness of his digs near Kolob and anything earthly hands could produce be so great as to render the Motel 6, and the Salt Lake Temple, practically identical, relatively speaking?
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

A Hotel 6 won't do for Jesus, but that and much, much worse is apparently ok for those he claims to love so dearly.

Can't help but wonder what the average slum resident will think about the Son of God shacking up a la Sadaam Hussein style is some sumptuous palace.
God . . . "who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, . . . and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him ..."

I did a walk-through at my friend's home yesterday. The construction is about six weeks to completion. What a monstrosity! 14,000 sq ft with an elevator, a full on theatre, and an in-laws cottage, all nestled on 1.5 acres of woodland on a private road in Rameumptonville. I bet Jesus could stay there for a month before actually running into anyone inside the home. Plus, its all mormonified, will soon be dedicated, and clearly endorsed by God because my friend cannot stop telling me how financially blessed they have been for paying a full tithe.

When Jesus comes again, it will be very different. At His coming all the sinners are going to be destroyed. There won't be any bars to hang out in with drunks. No slums. No hungry people. No sick. It's going to be a prety good place.

He will come in glory. Do you understand what that means?

Ok. So why will a Motel 6 be such a bad place? The Motel 6, under these circumstances, would have to be a pretty decent place, don't you think? Are you guilty of "presentism" here?

Hungry people are sinners?

Only if they covet their neighbor's larder.

Charity, a question.

How was Jesus Christ's purported appearance to Joseph Smith not the Second Coming? How was his purported appearance to the Nephites not the Second Coming?

Sounds like this will actually be, for Latter-day Saint believers, the Fourth Coming.
