Keep swallowing camels Charity.
A person who thinks that all they have to do is pay tithing to get into the temple is really, really mistaken. That is the easiest of the requirements.

The Church is not a "charitable" organization. It is a CHURCH. The Church does not require its members otodonate. You don't have to pay admission fees into the chapel, and you can't buy your way into the temple.
Your are right, my bad. The church isn't a charitable organization. They seem to spend more money on real-estate than on the poor. But then again, that is just a guess on my part, because they hide their financials.
Did you think that DC Comics pulled the idea for the Batcave out of thin air? I think the original plans had the walls covered in a combined Reformed Egyptian - Deseret Alphabet motif. The artists no doubt balked at trying to draw that much complexity in every panel.
Pokatator was very astute in noting this penthouse is much bigger than 2400 sq. ft.

That comment means nothing. Care to be specific about how easy it is to live the whole Gospel?

What does living the whole Gospel have to do with getting into the temple? Last I checkd, the bishop didn't ask me if I did my home teaching every month in the past year, nor did he ask me if I ever swear.

Living the Gospel is keeping all the commandments. And my bishop asks me if I do my visiting teaching. Remember the question about being worthy to enter the temple? That's the big one.

I could probably drive you there, but my memory of downtown SLC is no longer current as I learned a few months ago after turning down a one-way street after a long lunch with Infymus, Shades, runtu, KimberlyAnn and others. Anyway I'm back in Brooklyn now, so I can't offer roadside assistance.
I think its main street, no? The other end of the block from the Eagle Gate? If so, I always thought it was the building next to it---the Eagle Gate apts, themselves.

Not that this applies to all or any of you or this is what I think about all or any of you, but those who inquire into matters that are none of their business often appear to others to have impure motives.
Just a little feedback so you can determine whether or not you want to make a behavioral change.
It's something of a "glass houses" situation really, though, Charity. One of the things that the LDS Church trumpets is how it has an unpaid clergy. Technically, that isn't correct.
Does the church set itself up for inspection, observation and even criticism by making a falsifiable claim?
The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.
