Let me guess. Your wife hasn't bought into your rhetoric, vulgar as it often is. She's still active, right, and you admit home teachers? Or am I wrong?

What does this have to do with DCP stating horses existed with no proof to back it up?

And no, I keep my wife locked in the basement, where she belongs. I secretly kill HTs and make nipple belts. I also eat small children, occasionally.

So, do you get along with your home teachers?

Let's try to keep our critics straight, shall we? Godmakers was the brainchild of Ed Decker. UTLM, founded by the Tanners, was sharply critical of Decker and his Godmakers book and films.

Hey Walmart...

As I stated on the other thread, the videos are not about documenting every fact, detail or speculation.

Obviously! ;-)

The point that was trying to be made is that lighthouse ministries left out much information in their Godmaker's video. The purpose of the videos by FAIR was to counter the lighthouse ministry video and they did a good job.

This video was worthless. Completely worthless. It means nothing to claim the problems in the Book of Mormon are not really problems.

These days it takes more than just claiming something is true "because I said so".

I have stated before many times on other forums: the same rules if applied to the Bible as they are applied to the Book of Mormon would show that the Bible is also unprovable.

And....? (smile)

I thought the FAIR videos right on target for the audience that they are meant for.

What kind of audience are they meant for?

Those who want to believe there are no problems in the Book of Mormon?

Those who do not have access to the internet?

Those who trust apologists regardless of their trustworthiness?

Agreed! And it is!
This is the funniest part of mopologits. The reaction to immediately go after the Bible (which I am am all too happy to do) when they really start feeling the heat of the absolute lack of evidence for the Book of Mormon.

At least the Bible has many places and peoples that are real.

As soon as the Book of Mormon deviates from the Bible, it hits rock bottom immediately.

I assume Dan is DCP, but who is John?

Hi Scottie...

Ohh sorry....

John is John Tvedtnes, and Dan is DCP.

Dan: There have also been some horse bones that have been radio carbon dated to about the time of Christ that were found up in the upper Midwest of the United States.

Dan's already been called to task on this one, as it is a reference to the Wisconsin skull that was a hoax.

It's maddening to try and follow up on some of these assertions, because they don't back them up with any actual sources or references.

But yes, this is something I will get to... I've been very busy and struggling with a cold this last week or so, so haven't done a thing to my website.

I do have to say it's obnoxious the way apologists constantly accuse archaeologists of sheer incompetence.
