So, what is happening here? Did Shades install these (inferior) smilies and do something so they wouldn't appear? I'll try and see what happens.

They should appear above.

I still haven't voted. I am trying to maintain good community relations and suck up to admin at the same time. I have a long term investment in sucking up to admin in the hopes of getting a threaded view one day.
