Well, we're in Shady Acres now, and I'm a Goddess. Come visit the Goddess Suite sometime, and see how things operate there. Bond and Schmo can tell you I'm very accurate with the whip. ;)

by the way, it looks like the girl in your picture was enjoying things a bit too much. Maybe we can get that same kind of smile on your face. :)

Here's my excuse, in-fool-mys:

There are members of your household who are believers, who don't go along with your program, and pray for your repentence. They are interceding on your behalf just as Lot interceded for Sodom.

Too bad that didn't help Lot's wife. Too bad it prevent Cain from getting cursed. Too bad it didn't prevent Laman and Lemuel from getting cursed.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

Is his family still active? I didn't think they were.

If I were the offend-able type and I were his relatives, I'd be insulted by being compared to the man who felt it was better to have his daughters raped than give up a couple strangers for some good old fashioned sodomy.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

It ought to be, Nehor, but keep in mind the story of Korihor was very public. It was leveraged by the Mormon Nephites to frighten everyone back to the church - and to teach all the sheep today the same powerful (albeit fictional) lesson today. It's all about publicity:

58 And it came to pass that they were all convinced of the wickedness of Korihor;
therefore they were all converted again unto the Lord; and this put an end to the iniquity
after the manner of Korihor
. And Korihor did go about from house to house, begging
food for his support.

(Book of Mormon | Alma 30:58 )

Infymus,

I would suggest that you take your challenge and pony up for a billboard in SLC that faces the church office building - spell it all out with the scripture reference etc. What a hoot to see that on FOX or CNN during electin year. If I were the prez, I'd send a greeny missionary to deal you the curse.

Amusingly, even if nothing happens, they will say that it worked - figuratively speaking.

I mean, to them, you are already about as blind, deaf and dumb as you can get, right? And when you die, in spite of the fermaldihyde you'll be pumped up with, your flesh will ooz off your bones just like any other carbon based life form.

Regardless of your fate, I will remain on the outside of their fishbowl looking in.

Live long and prosper.

Oh? They are?

I do have the power to curse. I choose not to use it. Mostly because I find this a great trip down memory lane. The last time I spoke to someone like this it was an obese drooling man in Manchester town center who swore and spat every time he saw missionaries and routinely demanded we curse him or strike him down if we had power. He also offered to duel the Holy Spirit in one on one combat. Could you please do that too? It would be very funny.

Sounds like you failed that one too.

Was I supposed to beat him to death or something? You could tell by looking at him the guy didn't need to be cursed.

Korihor was also not on an anonymous message board. He was a public figure. If Infymus were outside my door screaming and demanding to be cursed I might take more specific action. Like curse him and call the cops.

Believe it or not, childish ranting and insults on a message board do not strike me as something for which to seek divine vengeance. Call me tolerant.

If you want to be cursed, remember what the Missionaries taught. Go to the source.

Ah of course, "childish ranting and insults" are something you have never done, mr. "one line zingers, hit and run" Nehor.

You're avoiding the whole deal.

Just admit you have no power to Curse. You're laying the blame on your God saying its His responsibility.

Ok, Nehor is out, obviously unable to perform his penishood duties.

Hence my descriptor of him as "nebbish."

Because I can not perform my penishood duties? You're a strange man Scratch.....
