Males shall not compare anything to childbirth

Obviously.

I mean, really, what the heck would a single one of you know about it? (insert snarl icon here)

Maybe we know it's the female Trump card for all complaints about who has a hard life?
Some of us also know what it's like to be held responsible as the cause of said pain. (even if it is half the woman's fault for wanting to bear children too--especially after the first child) ;)

As well it should be. (well, for those of us who got conned into the "natural lamaze" plan, that is)

I gave birth to four children, three of them completely naturally. And I have to say that getting physical therapy on my knee was far more painful than childbirth. It was there at the PT's office, and only there, that I was requesting an epidural. My sadistic little physical therapist just snarled his evil little smile at me as he ripped through another inch of scar tissue.

Charity, what is your view of this?

ROFL...

Yea, like you're going to get some kind of statement from charity after she just argued on the other thread that MADB only bans critics because they break a rule.

Well, this was a clear rule breaker. And Will get's a slap on the wrist, if you can even call it that.

I just got home from being gone most of the afternoon and evening. I went over and read the whole thread. I think:

1. Will was not just out of line, but WAY out of line.
2. Will should apologize.
3. Will got stomped by a lot of LDS posters.
4. Scottie made a really stinky remark.
5. No non-LDS took him to task.
6. Scottie should apologize.
7.There was a lot of taunting of absent posters.
8. Nemesis gave a lot of warnings.
9. Not enough people listened.
10. I was not surprised that the topic was locked.

The only disagreement I have is that "no non-LDS took [Scottie] to task." No one, Mormon or not, took him to task until the mods chimed in much later. I didn't see his post, so I didn't comment. I bailed out after Will's last attack.

But I appreciate your standing against egregiously bad behavior on both sides.

I am glad you feel this way about Will being out of line. Do you think that Will's behavior merited, at the very least, a suspension? Frankly, I think that if the Mods were keeping in line with their own policies, it did.

Please.

Give me being Bishop. I hear pregnancy is like kidney stones and those still fill me with mortal dread. I'm not sure why any woman would choose to get pregnant twice.

Well, for me, it's because I had an innate inability to remember pain. That and the little ones have a disconcerting tendency to grow up!
