Ask yourself first, for what purpose would he need to be in the temple?

To pray, seek guidance, and commune with God?

Rocket science, hana?

Don't need to be in a temple to do that, Coggie.

True, but in the Temple, one is no longer in "the world" and is in a place that God has specifically set aside as a place where he can appear to his people and reveal knowledge to them...a place of refuge from the world and meditative uniqueness. Prayer, meditation, and the seeking of knowledge are some of the Temple's major features.

Or didn't you know that?

Most people in history who've communed with the Almighty, or professed to, were not within the confines of a temple, LDS or otherwise, at the time.

Or didn't you know that?

No, I didn't know that, Nor did many of the ancients, according to their own texts and traditions, and you might want to define the term "Temple", with respect to LDS doctrine, because the Gospel recognizes both structures constructed and dedicated to God and other structures, such as mountains (such as the mountain where Moses received the Gospel and the Ten Commandments), in which special or more intimate revelation can be obtained..

Details hana...details...and homework.

No reason why God can't talk to someone anywhere he wants if he wants to, including the Oval Office.

Ignorance is, indeed, a blissful state.

Understanding some degree of LDS doctrine would be helpful here...

I'm sure it's frustrating for you that you don't. But don't lose heart.

God visited Joseph Smith in a grove of trees. His Son was there too.

Coggins

Why is it when you don't like what someone says you say that do not know or understand LDS doctrine? Most those I see you say this too seem to understand it quite well. It seems to be ad hominem and rather disingenuous. You have said this the Hana and TD recently. Both seem well versed in LDS doctrine. I do not think your approach further and dialogue.
