You're not one of those people who claim that seeing some bare skin leads to things like rape and murder, are you? That seems to be one implication of that statement.

Oh my heck! Grow up people! This statement just confirms my belief that there really is a bubble over Utah County!

I guess these folks don't often attend the (TBM Larry Miller's) Jazz games with the Jazz dancers practically throwing their hips out with pelvic thrusts! Come on, we like to be titillated...we even pay for it!

Get over it. Or at the least, go to another gym.

I like GoodK's response. Mormons can leave the gym, but they can't leave the gym alone.

This whole protest is infantile. As someone else said, BYU has its over very nice gym facilities for any of its students who can't stand to be in a building where live women in exercise clothes are doing aerobics.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

By the same token you can argue that politics has no place in society.

And an added bonus to the BYU gym - all the men will be clean shaven (yes, it's a requirement).

I can't remember what my old Gold's membership contract said, but wouldn't making demands/protesting be enough to warrant prohibiting these kids from entering the premise? I know the contract is air tight with regards to refunds on payments of membership. I doubt that anyone would be nice enough to refund the membership money just because the members "don't like what Golds is playing" on TV. Particularly ones that are making a negative PR stink about the whole thing.

Heh, good point. In fact, the only time I used a gym was when I was a student at BYU because then it was free (well, free after tuition anyhow).

Why use a gym. I've got the whole world and my bicycle for free.

There's this nifty little device that was invented some time ago.

Nowdays, they call them "bolt cutters".
