Sorry Moniker if I added to destroying the thread.

How would you destroy this thread - given the subject it was likely to flash into a wild fire real quickly.

"What do LDS men think of non-virginal women?" you would hope that it would be the same as what Jesus thought about non-virginal women - which is he didn't condem them and one in particular followed him around and stayed real close to the end.

Well, I think it would help that if you participated that you could answer the questions in the op. Or reply to one of the posts made if you had something to add.

I don't care one bit. Sex is like breathing; every higher member of the animal kingdom has to do it.

virginity has nothing to do with someones self worth or desirablity.

From reading this, I sense that many LDS men are themselves virgins until they marry.

I fell in love on my mission with a sister missionary who had converted to the church when she was like 18 or 19. After getting home, when I told my mom I was thinking pretty seriously about her, she got all quiet, and in hushed tones, reminded me that having converted at that age there was a significant likelihood that she might not be a virgin. Her tone made it sound as if she was warning me off making the worst possible mistake.

I guess that's how one LDS woman regards women who aren't virgins at marriage.

ps: the sister missionary had already made her own plans, and mine didn't work out, if anyone's curious
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Before 20+ years, I have married a woman with four children. (I had one.) Unfortunately, my mom didn't warned me that there was a significant likelihood that she might not be a virgin. And she wasn't! (Don't reveal this to our 16 grandchildren!)

Moniker wrote:Guys what are your thoughts on women that have had multiple partners?

I think it means very little in and of itself. Extra details might change my opinion somewhat, but that single detail in and of itself would have next to no impact on my 'opinion' of them.

Or a woman that has had intercourse outside of marriage?

This would totally depend on the circumstances. Totally. For me anyway...
