Yes, exactly what I suspected. DNCNBC would make that kind of observation. I wonder why it matters to them?

How is it that you missed that the link posted in the OP was from MSNBC?

Wonder on. The news outlets do report these things. I understand Hillary got most of the Hispanic vote in Nevada, too. I wonder what possible motive CNN would have in reporting that.

I didn't miss the link. MSNBC is DNCNBC. Wow, that went over your head like Rodan over the Tokyo Tower.

I do wonder. I wonder why CNN or MSNBC might have missed the fact that many of these Hispanic voters are uneducated, poor, don't speak English, and are here illegally?

What, in other words, is there about Hillary's ideology and policy ideas that would appeal to them, but not to Romney voters?

Hmmm. That doesn't describe the voting Latinos I know.

Cog, it's impossible for a person to legally vote, if they're here illegally. And since those who are here illegally want to fly under the radar, it stands to reason they aren't going to register to vote.

Good grief, man! Use some logic!

I wonder if it's worth explaining to you how you apparently missed it in the OP and picked it up upon explanation. But apparently not.

Because they're just rabid anti-Mormons, not racists.

Dreadful Prospect

By now its 50% of the votes for Romney with 7% of Nevada’s population Mormon.

Politicians can no longer play the “race card” but they can certainly play the “religion card.”

Mike Huckebee’s God vs. Mitt Romney’s God.

Never mind the ECONOMY. Never mind the trillion dollar war in Iraq. Never mind the loss of jobs in the USA. Just get God right.

America may have deserved 8 years of George Bush. They got it. Another term of the religious right, and the USA will be second to China or some other country which outperforms the USA.

It’s a dreadful prospect!

An American Challenge

Post by _JAK »

charity wrote:In 2006 19% of households had incomes over $100,000.

With the LDS emphasis on working, achieving, education, gainful employment, etc. it could be expected that LDS have a higher income per household. So where' s the beef.

The real question is: Where is the representation of ALL the people?

Keep in mind that it’s one state. However, a run of Romney against any Democrat would be an American challenge.

Due Primarily to Mormons

Huckabee benefits from EV and Mitt from Mormons. Mitt still got 55% and that cannot be due to Mormons only.

Keep in mind the facts. Nevada is 7% Mormon, yet 50% of the votes in Nevada were for Romney. That should tell you something.

Actually, it is indeed likely due primarily to Mormons.

Misanalysis by Coggins7

Misanalysis:

Here is why. NBC is in competition with CBS, ABC, and for pay-for-view CNN.

As moksha correctly observed:

South Carolina will change the delegate count. Mitt is not leading there as I understand it. That should be a hotbed for evangelical politicos.

Your misguided notion that the National Broadcasting Company is in any way joined or linked to the Democratic National Committee is grossly misguided.

And of course, harmony is correct as she states:

"Hmmm. That doesn't describe the voting Latinos I know.
