Rain galore here. We've had weeks of on and off rain, mostly on. But so far the summer has been mild, thank the gods, as I can sleep during the daytime (work night shift). I'm praying to Odeon, or whoever is not busy, that the ferocious Feburary heat takes a holiday. :)

A colleague of mine from work went to Melbourne over Xmas and endured a 46 degree day. That doesn't seem mild to me, or was it just a one off? Whatever, nice to hear it's been cooler and you are getting rain. Water seems to be a commodity that Aussie doesn't get enough of. Odeon? And here I thought you were a good Mormon ;)

Melbourne has had some heat, so I hear from a correspondent there. But in NSW, so far, we've been spared, though the mossies and cockies are flourishing, especially in my flat! They are immune to everything, so I just add them to my soup :)

I'll pray to whoever answers my prayers. First in gets my worship :)

I want a "kool summer". Failing that, I'll even consider southern NZ as a migration option. (don't tell me it gets hot there, too)

You can't escape the cockies here either. Disgusting, vile creatures. Thankfully they are outside ones that flourish in my garden and only come inside when they get lost, along with wetas and a trillion praying mantises (mantii?)

As long as you avoid Central Otago and Christchurch, you should be ok as far as a cool summer goes. They have both been regularly in the 30's this year, as have we in Ham with high humidity.

Rightiho. Nice to chat and have a quick catch up on what's been going on around here, but Coronation St is nearly on. Charlie's going to be murdered soon, so I have to go watch. Toodles.

Far better than reading Mormon-related forums, and far more intellectually stimulating.

Think I'll do some late-evening gardening. Weeds fascinate me. :)

Ta Da.
