That is all. Carry on.
Wait a second here...this is the make fun of Wade thread. Anyone who doesn't comply will be made fun of in return. Prepare to meet your doom!
Blixa is stupid...*oh wait...Ph.D....college professor...etc etc*
Blixa is ugly...*oh wait...total hottie...beating men off with a whip and a chair like a lion tamer...etc etc*
Blixa is ignorant...*oh wait....cosmopolitan...up to date on literature/art/music/etc etc*
damnit...this is hard.....ummmm
Blixa smells. *Ha that'll fix her wagon.....oh who am I kidding...her morning breath probably smells like cinnamon and she probably craps Peppermint patties....why is it that because of the unfreezing process I have no inner monologue...*

Wade,
If you are really sincere about persuading people to believe that constructive discourse (and not angry venting) is the most mutually beneficial way to discuss Mormonism here, you should study the book "Influence" by Cialdini and apply its principles. Other than that you should become like Gandhi and engage in passive resistance by PRACTICING WHAT YOU PREACH. If you can't be a good example of your philosophy you really ought to take a different tack.
Somehow I don't think your intent is to build beautiful bridges of communication. I agree with trinity in that your apparent intent is to experience the endorphines that accompany dramatic conflict under the guise of goodness.
For me, I'll just ask myself, What Would Jesus Do and angrily throw tables around the room and beat on people until I get what I want.

And, since many here believe venting is a viable road to health and recovery, I thought I would start a thread where those so inclined can empty whatever bial is in their soul, and get any ill-feelings towards me out of their system.
Feel free to invite RFMers and people from other ex-mo boards who I may have offended, repelled, and/or engendered ill-sentiments. Let's make this the mother of all smear-fests, with me as the object of derision.
If you wish, you can recount whatever you believe to be the worst things you have observed me doing or saying, or the most evident things you believe are wrong with me and what I have done on boards like this. You can even invent stuff if that suits your fancy. From that we can construct a Top Ten list.
What say we cut the monster that is me down to size. Don't hold back (as if I need to teel you). ;-)
Thanks, -Wade Englund-
There's nothing wrong with you that a good woman wouldn't cure.
HAAAAA!!!! (Wiping coffee off my screen) ROFLMAO!!
Now THAT was funny, Harmony! :-)
Wish I had time to read beyond your post this morning...:-)

P.S. I don't know about anyone else, but this form of "venting" has proven to be chicken soup for my soul. Perhaps I need to re-think whether "recovery" can come from such. ;-)
Us venting about you is 'healing' or 'chicken soup' for your soul? I don't get it.
Have Renegade or Steuss or Nehor explain it to you. They seem to get it.
Thanks, -Wade Englund-
