Wade was rejected by the French!

The only way I know to top that is with French Canadians. ;)

What makes this all the remarkable is some of my ancestors and relatives are French. ;-)

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Well, that explains many things.

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

It's your thread. You explain it.

Free time to bag on somebody? - I'll join!

This silly ending always seems smug and condescending to me, much like "Regards, Pahoran". Posts can range anywhere from insightful to polemic to vindictive and have the exact same closing pattern that pretends to smile at the recipient.

"You fundamentally misunderstand my point!

Thanks, -Wade England-"

would come across more as discussion rather than condescension if the last bit were used more sparingly.

I am pleased to see Beastie weighing in. I trust, though, that she is just now getting into her vitriolic stride, and will move beyond simply echoing other people's contempt for me, and start delineating some of her own original disdain. Who knows how many times she has interjected snide and off-topic comments about me on various threads, so it is good to see that she can now make her ill-will known in ways that are on-topic. I also hope it helps her to "recover" from me.

It is also good to see Who Knows show up on this thread, though I hope his participation here extends beyond just asking clueless questions. Here is a great chance for him to get in his digs, and hopeful unburden his soul of the weight of loathing me.

But, I am wondering where KimberlyAnn is? She despises me so much to warrant requesting that I be banned from a casual get-together of board members this summer. And, she and Beastie have such fear about my perceived harmful influence on others, that they were motivated to break off from their furtive and important discussions here, and drop in to disrupt a perfectly civil dialogue I was having on another exmo board about improving relations between members and former members. Naturally, some of the ladies there were shocked to learn that months and months earlier, I had committed the unspeakable crime of saying that I thought KimberlyAnn was an embarrassment to women when claiming to have been traumatized from her youth over a cupcake analogy she heard at church. The ladies rightly concluded that I was an abuser of the worst order, not worthy of their time, and they convinced the board administrator to request that I leave (which I did out of respect, but had a mountain of invectives heaped on me after my departure). I hope those ladies will feel welcome to join us. At the very least, here is KimberlyAnn's chance to unload all her resentment towards me, and obliterate what little credibility I may have, with the hope of being able to move on with her life without the least concern for my presence here or elsewhere. Yet, she is nowhere to be found. Could someone please PM her?

What about EAllusion? He was prompted by his scorn to level entirely irrelevant criticism of me in another thread. Now he has his chance to get things off his chest in a pertinent way, but so far he is a no-show. Could someone PM him as well.

And then there is Mercury and Scratch, who have been liberal with their impertinent and snide comments to me. I want them to have a chance to "recover" from me as well. Please inform them of this wonderful opportunity, will ya?

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

I assume you're talking about me?

Again, I don't get it. How does us venting about you help you heal? Maybe I am clueless, but can you at least explain to poor little old clueless me?

If you are really sincere about persuading people to believe that constructive discourse (and not angry venting) is the most mutually beneficial way to discuss Mormonism here, you should study the book "Influence" by Cialdini and apply its principles. Other than that you should become like Gandhi and engage in passive resistance by PRACTICING WHAT YOU PREACH. If you can't be a good example of your philosophy you really ought to take a different tack.

Somehow I don't think your intent is to build beautiful bridges of communication. I agree with trinity in that your apparent intent is to experience the endorphines that accompany dramatic conflict under the guise of goodness.

For me, I'll just ask myself, What Would Jesus Do and angrily throw tables around the room and beat on people until I get what I want.

Do you feel better now?

It's not important for you to get it. All that really matters on this thread is that you and others heal from venting about me.

If you don't want to answer my question, fine, whatever. Based on your inability to answer me though, I think you're the one who's clueless.

Anyhow, I don't have anything to 'heal' from regarding you, so again, I don't know what your point is (I doubt anyone here does either). "Venting" about you here is entirely different than pointing out your idiotic comments in their respective threads. But whatever, if you're getting your jollies, go for it.

Well, I wasn't feeling particularly wounded until my olfactories started burning at Bond's smells of turd covered in burnt hair and diapers with indian food. And I think I got a paper cut from the napkin Moksha tossed at me.

But I do appreciate your concern for my well being.
