Hi Nehor...
Well, as it seems likely there is no sex in the TK that option might be out.

OK, lets go with this for a sec.

1. Why do you equate living as a family unit with sex?

A family is comprised of children, grandparents, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, grandchildren, and even loved ones who are not necessarily related. And, a husband and wife can still live as a family even if there is no sex.

2. Who says there is no sex in any other kingdom than the CK? How does anyone know this? Do the bodies of CK folks not funtion the same way as TR folks even though they are all resurrected?

Any official doctrine on this? ;-)

3. To my original point...(I'm going with the LDS ideas here for a sec), if sex is available in the afterlife for those who believe in Joseph Smith and those non-test takers, and assuming most folks love sex, how can a member say the TR is heaven if one considers sex a part of heaven yet are denied sex?

Does that make sense? (smile) In other words, the idea that heaven is exactly what would make someone the most happy as is asserted by some apologists, and if sex is included in what one thinks is heavenly, to suggest that they will be happy without sex means they are not in heaven.

I think Nehor's referencing the notion that only people in the CK will continue having kids in the after-life.

Nehor - do you think it'll be like the 'inhibitor' field in Half-Life 2?

Just the entire notion of having sex up in comfy cloudy heaven seems so bizarre to me -- especially coming from a religion that wants no one to enjoy sex when they're on Earth................................

Oh sure you can! Just make sure you put those sexy G's on right after...

You have to leave space for the Holy Ghost (or a triple combination) to fit between you.
Insert ironic quote from fellow board member here.

I admit I've been out long enough to have forgotten the exact location of this, but I think it's in the D&C that this is the case.

I think Joseph Smith lacked some creativity regarding this topic... ;-)

My understanding is that the LDS verious of heaven is not the cloudy comfy place others dream of... more a continuation of earth life. Working, working, doing missionary work, having spirit children for eternity, creating worlds without end, men ruling and reigning, women procreating and being queens.

I heard once that if you are in a higher kingdom you can visit loved ones but they can't visit you and they won't remember you. That would be horrible. It would be hell to see a loved one that doesn't even know who you are. But I don't think this is true. I am sure heaven or hell, whichever I go, will be just fine.

Ohhh also Nehor,

Believers teach the "sex in heaven" idea as a little carrot to reach the CKHL...

Only one problem, for women, how often does she get to have sex as a harem may very well be filled with millions of "sister wives"?

Like once million years or so?

Might as well be in the TR. ;-)

Umhum -- he had other things on his mind, apparently, than to taking the time to figuring out what heaven would be like. More thought put into what nookie would abound!

Sheesh -- oh dear -- I know I'm an anti-Mormon. I'm sorry! Some of this stuff is just so frickin crazy!
