G-d was busy today... evidently

Post by _Doctor Steuss »

"Could the fire that broke out in "Sin City's" Monte Carlo Casino be a warning from God?"
Question asked at "Yahoo Answers"

So, I'm wondering what the warning is? Is it that you should spend the extra little bit and stay at the Bellagio? That G-d only attacks top floors?

Help me out here people, I need to know if I should put in for a job transfer before I leave today...

I thought the warning was: "not to play with matches", but I may be confusing my Mom with God.

I once tried proving mathematically that there was no such thing as a coincidence in that it was a coincidence. I didn't get far because the people in my class didn't understand a word I was saying. *shrugs*

I don't think one ought to worry about God. What is G-D? I'm too tired to write. Why am I so tired?? ......kkpl;lkokkkp;lkolmiju87y6trdesw34e

All my pages are crashing. I only want to reply to an email jeez. #oh an scan my computer for trojans and the like :s

Never go to welding parties on the roof.
The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.

An understandable mistake.

Dude! You made me lol! And I'm laughing with you this time!

Nice one.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

My jobsite is next door, and I just happened to leave early on friday for a trip to St. George.

An hour or so after I left they evacuated the jobsite. 4,000 men all leaving to the parking garage at the same time. So glad I left early.

By the way, why would God strike an obscure and bankrupt casino, and ignore the three or four swingers clubs in town?

Jesus was asked the same question in his day.

Luke 13
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those who burned in the fire of the top floor of the Monte Carlo, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Nevada?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Okay. I may have substituted the DBT for the KJV in vs. 4. The original reads: "Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?"

But what's the difference?
