I rather doubt that could give way enough to make room for gay couples.
This illustrates the major problem with homosexual issues. Who is going to be the man of the couple? And it is a little difficult to multiply and replenish the earth unless procreation is possible.
It will never happen.
Does it matter?
The profits from (Conversions) came to a screeching halt in Europe and North America.
It is matter of time multiplying & replenishing like rabbits will taper off also.
But I wouldn't worry; the church investments double every decade.
It will get richer & richer.
That is the bottom line of survival.
I do expect to see this happen in my lifetime. Much like the blacks/priesthood issue I would expect to see the church grant temple marriage to gay couples 20 or so years after the government grants marriage.
When my husband and I got married it was with the understanding we would not be able to create children. The procreation argument feels a bit personal to me when it's introduced. You already have been handed a set of crappy genetic cards (rendering you infertile, rendering you gay) and then are discriminated against for something you had no part in. The methods used to create my own family are the same available to same-sex couples.
Insert ironic quote from fellow board member here.
It is so incredibly short sighted to think this is never going to change. Of course the church will allow gay marriage eventually! It's inevitable. And you're right, Scottie; it'll happen as soon as it's financially prudent to do so. The question is not whether they'll do it, but how long it will take.
You people... thinking the gospel is the church's #1 concern... LMAO
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
