'Bad' celebrity Mormons
Mormons take pride in LDS celebrities that they feel reflect well on the religion. But who are the high-profile Mormons that most members wish were not? I've compiled a short list of those people:
Harry Ried (a 'liberal' - nuff said)
Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up actress who talks openly about her religion while puffing cigs and using 'vulgar' language)
Aaron Eckhart (the star of Thank You For Smoking)
Glenn Beck? (doubtful - he's conservative, after all)
'Super' Dell Schanze (for the Utahns)
Karl Rove (just kidding, he's not, although many think he is cuz he grew up in Utah)
Anyone else?

How about Roseanne Barr? ...or maybe she just grew up in Utah.

or if its just "high-profile" Mormons, how about Russell Henderson, one of Matthew Sheppard's killers. Excommunicated now, of course.

Listening to the Killers, it's hard to visualize Brandon Flowers in the temple, y'know? But we're all going to have to stretch our minds a little here. Flowers is active LDS, has given up smoking, and been sealed to his wife in the temple. I read about this a couple months ago in an interview with him that I pulled up via Google.
If all Mormons seemed as cool as Brandon Flowers and my brother Matt, it would be hard to care too much whether the church was true or not. I'd go just for the people.

Please don't forget Miss Amy Adams (Giselle of Disney's recent "Enchanted").

What about Gary Rogers, "Director" of the Book of Mormon Movie? I think most TBMs like to pretend he isn't LDS.
