Since the first day I saw that building, I always thought it should be named "Great and Spacious" building.

As I replied in Runtu's thread on this on the MA&DB, I hope they do not rename the Conference Center, because President Hinckley would hate it.

No, he wouldn't. He seemed to enjoy having that new alumni building at BYU named after him.

And I'm being totally serious.
The podium should be nick named "Gordon's Woody".

I have no idea how he would have responded, but yes, he did seem quite pleased with the Hinckley Alumni building on campus here.

And lest anyone thought I was mocking, it just struck me that it would be most appropriate and fitting. The conference center and the temples are President Hinckley's legacy, in addition to what he did in improving the church's public image and profile.

I thought naming the new mall after President Hinckley would be a good idea.

They should re-name it the Tom Hanks and Shelly Long Memorial Building.

Hinckley should'a shocked em all by having a will made out that instructed his family to encase his body in concrete and made into a main footing for the Mo'mall. A plaque on the floor could mark the spot.

"President Gordon B. Hinckley supports this mall"
