by the way, I just started reading the actual articles. Just as I thought, it's a spin reliant chop job. No surprises there. Is anyone at FAIR wiki honest?
And it is your busienss to know when a couple is discussing hysterectomy vs vasectomy? Not in the circles I move in. We let people have their own privacy. Don't count me in your luncheon group, Jersey Girl. (Place the disgusted smilie here!)
Ou are reading that disgusting FAIR article? Pardon me, if I don't think that is hypocrit behavior to the max. It is horrible it is awful, how dare FAIR publish it, now let me read every word!

And if a board posted a Wiki site on you and your life? You'd be OK with that?
Somehow I doubt it.
I'd recommend, Bishop Crockett, that as long as you're sitting in that glass mansion in ***** you stop throwing stones at those who chose to post anonymously.

The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.
If Bob McCue is reading this thread he must be tired of all the babble about his personal life. It's about finished on Postmo, hardly even got started on RFM, and made one thread on MADB. And the exmos here, supposedly his friends, are prolonging this babble. Isn't it time to give it a rest? Why this prurient obsession with endless gossip and speculation? I imagine this here would be more distressing to Bob than what was said elsewhere.

Unlikely. It's doubtful he even reads here. His problem was with FAIR. Nice sidestep, though, Ray.

Don't know what you mean by sidestep. I'm not a McCue defender, and have criticised him a lot. But I think this discussion has now become morbid.
It started out morbid. There were no clean hands at FAIR. Reporting it here didn't make FAIR's hands cleaner. Anyone, you, Charity, or anyone else defending FAIR's actions makes it only more dirty.
The point is a principle, not a person. You've been around these boards long enough, Ray, to know that not all exmormons are friends with each other, or defend each other to a fault.
What FAIR did was wrong, very wrong. That you can't see that and choose to defend it is likewise wrong, and out of balance.

Of course this topic is of more interest on this board, because this board is more involved in FAIR/MAD in every way. The real topic here isn't mccue, it's the egregious behavior of the fair-wiki "manager", Greg Smith, and the fact that ad-hom attacks are frequent on the part of FAIR apologists in general. THAT'S why it's still alive here.
But trust charity to spin an obvious case of poor behavior on the part of apologists into a case of bad behavior on the part of the critics discussing it. :O
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Don't you see how that looks.
Well, charity...you've caught me in a mood wherein I don't give a damn how anything looks right now. Lucky you. Here's the thing about the hysterectomy vs vasectomy and thank you for jumping to your wrong headed overly biased conclusions in public.
A "couple" weren't discussing hysterectomy vs vasectomy at all. Bob and his Bishop discussed it when Bob sought guidance regarding his wife's well being.
I am reading the article in private. Nowhere on this board will you see me quoting it. Unbeknownst to you, I have had years of interaction with Bob McCue. My interest wasn't to uncover information about him. It was to witness the disgusting chop job that was produced by the so called apologetic arm of the LDS Church. And that's exactly what it is.

That I know.

Of course. But which ever side it comes from it's still wrong. And whether it's done through systematic planning or spontaneous babble, discussing marital relationships based on Internet speculation and sporadic posts can be very distressing to a person. I have little time for McCue as a critic, but on this occasion I think there are limits. What FAIR did was wrong, but prolonging it is also wrong. If you all want to drone on about the "evil Greg Smith", then McCue will be dragged back into it. Is the need for revenge so deep? (I'd better go back to work now.)
