Sally and I (Sally is my name for my brain) will try to come in line with 21st Century information. JAK, do I need to format Sally to delete everything before 2001?

Nonsense, Nehor.
It’s not a matter of “delete,” it’s a matter of moving forward academically and intellectually. Understand that eons of superstition/religion have preceded the present. Understand that in earlier times, much less information was available. Understand that superstition led to vague religious notions. Understand that those vague religious notions led to less vague religious doctrines and dogmas.
No need to “delete.” The need is to understand the evolution of cultural perspectives. The need is to understand that in earlier times and ancient times, people substituted stories for evidence. Just when the word “evidence” came into the language as we use that term today, I don’t know. However, it’s present today. It’s the foundation upon which we establish reliable consensus. And, it’s upon reliable consensus which we build further knowledge.
No need to “delete.” There is a need to understand. Forget naming your brain. It’s juvenile.

However, when I log in here, I can count on coming back to the computer after an hour or so of being away, and I have been logged off without my permission. Then I have to log in again.
Could that be a way to boost hits for advertising purposes?
It is annoying.
I think you're thread title is misleading. No posters are being "dropped" on this board. The system is simply logging you out.

Yes, I agree Jersey Girl. It’s likely a faith based conclusion by Charity.

How did I know someone would take it there? :)

You don't like the name. I might cry now.

Don't know what you're talking about. I've never had to log in; it always remembers. I would have to go look up the password if it did, I'm afraid. Is this another Apple advantage, I wonder?
I use firefox, and I never have to log in unless somehow my cookies get deleted or something.
I'm always remembered. Makes me feel like I'm doing something right in my life, sort of like when I find a parking space close to the front entrance of Wal-Mart on a Sunday.
