Of course, this is a purely hypothetical situation because the church is not actually true. ;)

Obviously, by the Holy Spirit. There is no other way. The only little problem is that the HS can tell only the "YES" answer. You should create the question properly.
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

That's true. And we're talking good, solid evidence, as opposed to the "I really really really think it, so it must be true" kind of evidence.

Runtu,

In order for you to deduce that the church is God's true church, God would have to come down and tell you personally, wouldn't he? Do you trust this process? If a divine being showed up and told me Mormonism was true I would do one or both of two things: 1 - I'd check myself into a mental hospital, 2 - I would insist this divine being give me evidence of his divinity. A sign, a miracle, certified papers, something.

Then if this divine being passed my sign test, I'd kick him in the nads for being such a vile creature.

But then wouldn't you risk rupturing his nads and rendering him incapable of reproducing more spirit children?

(by the way, I agree... if I had the chance, I'd kick him in his planet-sized, hairy, sweaty, shriveled, overbearing, spent salty balls myself... well, if he were really real).

Please list you top three exhibits and tell me why they prove the Church false to the point you KNOW it is. And tell me how the refutations of why this evidence does not prove the Church false fail.

Seriously?

For starters, I guess you don't buy that whole crazy DNA thing, huh? Those wacky scientists have no idea what they're talking about, do they?

If this really happened why would you think the God of Mormonism is a vile creature?
