I find it ironic that my Church is being caricatured when I've see more accusations of racism on this board in a month then I have seen real racism after living in this Church for 28 years.....much of that in the South.

That's because you're so used to the kind of racism the church engages in, you don't even notice it any more. It's institutionalized racism. You can't see that forest because you’re too busy climbing trees.

Kinda sad, really.

Until the church formally comes out and says, "We were wrong about the whole 'blacks are cursed' thing... sorry about that..." it’s still a racist organization. Where's the admission of guilt? Where the restitution?

It's one thing to lift a ban. It's another to admit the ban was wrong in the first place.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
