Congratulations to THESTYLEGUY on reaching Godhood

Post by _Bond...James Bond »

It almost seems too easy doesn't it? 1000 posts and you achieve everlasting immortality. Omnipotence and a bag of Pizza Rolls with 40% more frozen pizza morsels. Who wouldn't want to be a God?

Congratulations are in order. Give them, or face a certain death when you die.

No applause just paypal:)

I would like to thank Bishop Shades for creating a board where I can confess my sins and express my thoughts - This could be called the Mormon catharsis board (quick - someone grab that name/domain)

I would like to thank the Moderators at MAD for giving me the boot when I gave them a little history lesson about Joseph Smith.

I would like to thank all who responded to my posts, some critcal and most in support of some issues that I'm working through each day.

Thought of you today whilst contemplating the purchase of a bespoke suit...

What's a "bespoke suit?"

The things you don't know, Shades. *sigh* Art, style, design....

edit: I forgot poetry. : )

from wikipedia:

"Traditional tailoring is called bespoke tailoring in the United Kingdom, where the heart of the trade is in London's Savile Row, and custom tailoring in the United States and Hong Kong. This is unlike made to measure which uses pre existing patterns. A bespoke garment or suit is completely original and unique to each customer."

True bespoke tailoring is extremely detailed (20-30 measurements needed for a jacket alone) and expensive. I was actually referring to finding a couple of seamstresses on Etsy who make clothes from a far less rigorous set of personal measurements and are far more affordable.

Anyway, this is what I wish for you Styleguy:

What can I say, I was never an art, style, or design major. But I *do* know that some art is qualitatively and aesthetically superior to others.

Oh yeah, and free-verse poetry is still a form of cheating.

Neither was I.

I never really argued that it wasn't---just that technique was not as important as concept.

Well, that cuts down on your reading, then...
