I don't know what "in real life" stands for, but aren't YOU the one stalking my family, wife and children by constantly revealing personal information about me? You have alleged receiving death threats. I truly doubt someone who had been called in by their stake president and received death threats would continue to behave in a provocative fashion on a message board.

For the record, most NOMs I know would just prefer to stay at home and watch football; they're usually too bored at church to work up the effort to destroy anyone's testimony.

I don't understand why you waste your time; it would seem to me if I were in your position I'd do what you describe -- watch football. It is this rather incongruous position you're in which compels some folks to believe that there's this conspiracy to damage the church.

You're right, there is no conspiracy. Not beyond the level, I'd surmise, of intimately-personal vendettas against the Church. And I don't see John as fitting that profile. So, you find it interesting that John's not an NOM, but, as you suggest, that he is intent on "anonymously" posting as "John Williams?" I didn't realize that John Willliams was so intent on hiding John Williams's personal information. John Williams should let Beastie know that, contrary to his explicit permission, she should not use John Williams's in real life name in her horses article.

It doesn't matter what John Williams has said, I guess; he is still intent on "anonymously" destroying your testimony.

His interest is singular: destroy testimonies from within. Yeah, Will is right on the money in his desire to expose and discredit "former"-Mormon SP's in "every way possible."

John, I don't understand where Will is coming from, frankly, but I have neither his nor your history.

I went back and read the MA&D thread. I think there are several different categories.

I'm all for honesty. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THE CHURCH IS TRUE, I have no problem with you continuing to attend meetings on the following conditions:

Don't lie to the bishop to get a temple recommend.
Don't hold any callings where youth or children are in the stewardship or where teaching if part of the duties.
Don't take the sacrament, even if everone looks at you.
Don't speak out against any doctrine or teaching which is a part of Church doctrine or teachings inside any Church building.

If your whole purpose is to surreptitiously damage the Church, and Will can find you, you deserve to be ex-ed.

You just don't get it, do you? What you are describing is exactly what would be expected of those who have "sinned". Once you realize that dissent is healthy and not sinful you can move your bigoted ignorant religion into the 21st century.
