And of course, places like MADB would never tolerate you.

But that's not really saying much, now is it? MADB doesn't tolerate much of anyone.

I agree this Boaz/lidia is an ass, but he doesn't hide it. He admits his purpose and agenda.

I voted no change.

I'm a laid back, go with the flow type of person. I just read what I want to read and skim the rest. I'm not easily offended.

Well, folks, the poll is over and the "nays" have it. So, since most people think nothing should change, we're going to stick with the way things currently are.

The vote was pretty close, however. If memory serves, it appears as though most of those who voted for changes wanted one or more of the following four things:
  • An ignore feature.
  • Moderation of the Terrestrial Forum for civility.
  • More vigilant moderation of the Celestial Forum for its intended purpose.
  • More vigilant moderation of thread derailments.
I see no real "change" involved in the third option and fourth options, since that's what's supposed to be going on anyway. So expect more vigilant moderation of the Celestial Forum and for thread derailments. Since we recently doubled our moderator count, hopefully this will be easier to accomplish than has hitherto been the case.

Thanks to everyone who voted and commented in this thread. Your input is appreciated.
